New Frontier Immigration Law is looking for a team of Temporary Paralegals to support our Legal Team.
This is a 4-month contract.
MUST

Role Objective
We are seeking Bilingual Immigration Paralegals to join our team. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in handling a comprehensive caseload, assisting in the preparation and filing of applications for relief, and supporting our attorneys to meet and exceed our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your role is crucial in maintaining our reputation as the premier immigration legal services provider in the US.
Responsibilities/Duties
Manage a substantial caseload from inception to resolution, focusing on family-based immigration relief.
Draft and review applications for relief from removal, ensuring high-quality submissions.
Directly support the lead attorney in meeting KPIs and deadlines.
Edit and finalize packets according to attorney instructions, ensuring all required evidence is included.
Respond promptly to USCIS's Request for Evidence, adhering to strict deadlines.
Support Legal Assistants with legal inquiries and case management.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of case processes.
Uphold the firm's ethical standards and professional conduct in all interactions.
Maintain and organize case files using our legal database for efficiency and meticulous organization.
Prepare filings according to firm standards, contributing to our mission and objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relevant experience and education will also be considered.
Fluency in Spanish is required
Ability to set and meet deadlines, to manage 2-3 legal assistants, and a significant case load.
Minimum 3 years of high-volume immigration law experience
Expertise with I-589, I-42B, bond applications, and family-based petitions
Experience preparing clients and documentation for Individual Calendar Hearings
Strong understanding of asylum processes and complex removal defense
Demonstrated success managing complex case types
Fluent bilingual English–Spanish required
Exceptional communication and client-service skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with legal case management systems (Filevine preferred)
Compensation
$26,000 - $30,000 MXN pesos monthly
