About the role
This is a delivery-focused data enrichment role. The day-to-day work primarily involves reviewing records, identifying missing or incorrect data using the Data Cube, determining which source system is responsible, and correcting that data at source.
The role focuses on structured data backfill and validation across project, CRM, finance, and people systems. It does not involve analytics development, insight generation, modelling, reporting, sales activity, or system ownership. The primary objective is to populate, correct, and standardise defined data fields so records are complete, consistent, and usable downstream ahead of a potential liquidity event in H2 2027.
The Data Cube is used as a diagnostic tool only. All corrections are made in the underlying source systems.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out high-volume, accurate data input to populate and correct structured fields across CMAP, HubSpot, Advantage, Xero, and BambooHR, in line with agreed data standards
- Review Data Cube outputs to identify missing, inconsistent, or incorrect data
- Trace data issues back to the source system (CMAP, HubSpot, Advantage, Xero, BambooHR)
- Backfill and correct existing data fields directly in source systems
- Review unstructured information (titles, notes, attachments) and populate structured fields
- Use Excel to analyse extracts, identify gaps, and track backfill progress
- Compare project and financial data across CMAP, Xero, and the Data Cube to identify discrepancies, quantify differences in Excel, and prepare items for review before applying agreed corrections at source
- Cross-check records across systems to ensure alignment and consistency
- Track progress against simple data completeness and data health metrics
Candidate profile
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with repetitive, structured data work
- Confident using Excel
- Logical approach to investigating data issues and tracing them to source
- Happy working in a delivery-focused role
- Some prior experience working with structured data in a business environment, where data quality and accuracy were important (e.g. internships, placements, graduate roles, fixed-term roles, or full-time employment)
Desirable:
- Exposure to CRM, finance, HR, or project management systems
- Early-career data, operations, or systems experience
What this role is not
- No sales, revenue, pricing, or forecasting responsibility
- No system design, configuration, or governance work
- No client-facing responsibilities
