About the Role:

Credible is looking for a reliable and organized content producer to join our Content and SEO team as a temp.

You’ll build and produce stories in our CMS and ensure that published stories are correctly formatted and error-free. You’ll peer review other producers’ builds to eliminate formatting and text errors. You’ll edit and update key stories and landing pages in our student loans and personal loans verticals with fresh data as needed.

You’re a great fit for this role if you’re:

• Passionate about content (and personal finance)

• Have experience using a content management system

• Knowledgeable about SEO best practices and what makes an article successful

• Always taking initiative and able to work independently

• Eager to work in a dynamic start-up environment where opportunity for ownership and impact is significant

• Student loan and personal loans expertise a plus

Responsibilities:

• Build and peer review 70+ personal finance articles per month on the Credible blog

• Ensure published stories are correctly formatted and error-free

• Update existing stories with fresh proprietary data

• Work closely with the production team lead to assist senior editors with other content projects as needed

• Stay up to date on industry trends and continually expand personal finance knowledge

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or a related field preferred

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Meticulous attention to detail, organization, and strong project management skills

• Experience working within Asana, WordPress, Google Docs, and other content and task management systems a plus
