Telephone Operator

**Your Key Responsibilities**

• Direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments and personnel within the property's telephone system.
• Greet callers in a professional manner and provide courteous assistance with call routing and general inquiries.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols to ensure proper response during critical situations.
• Receive emergency calls and promptly connect callers with security and maintenance teams to facilitate rapid response and resolution.

 

• Minimum one (1) year of professional experience with telephone switchboard systems, multi-line phone systems, or customer service operations.
• Proficiency in English required. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Demonstrated typing proficiency of at least 30 words per minute with competent personal computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in call routing and information management.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods during assigned shifts.
• Commitment to obtaining and maintaining all required certifications and licenses as specified for this position.
