Telecommunications Engineer

Job Responsbilities:

• Defining the technical and performance characteristics of signalling and communication systems and components, as well as the related technical specifications;
• Ensuring compliance with institutional Client requirements, in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines and technical regulations;
• Participating in national and international working groups, together with Egis Group teams, for research and design activities;
• Designing and assessing the feasibility of technical modifications to signalling and communication system components;
• Coordinating and reviewing the activities of subcontractors and suppliers for the preparation of design deliverables;
• Preparing and updating bills of quantities and method statements for railway and/or road installation systems;
• Supporting the Project Manager and the Project Team in the development of design documentation and project deliverables.

• Education: higher education degree in the field of construction engineering;
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Romania in the design of railway and/or road installation systems;
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, AutoCAD and specialized design software;
• Strong sense of responsibility, high ethical standards of conduct, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and make decisions;
• Strong communication skills, as well as analytical and synthesis abilities; decision-making capability;
• Integrity and correctness;
• Ability to work under pressure and extended working hours;
• Assumption of responsibilities and maintenance of confidentiality.
