Tekla Engineer

As a Structural Tekla Engineer you work out complex structural steel designs for international projects using the Tekla Structures 3D drawing package. You independently monitor the progress of the projects and maintain contact with our clients, suppliers, the assembly and production teams. You will be supported in this by the Head of Business Office, constructors and junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and calculating steel structures (main load-bearing structures, mezzanine floors, stairs, platforms, etc.)

• Assessing structural safety, stability, and detailing according to Eurocodes and other relevant standards

• Providing input for working and production drawings

• Reviewing and assessing calculations and designs from colleagues or external parties

• Advising project teams on structural decisions and optimizations

• Preparing reports, structural documentation, and delivery files

• Identifying bottlenecks and providing solutions within the design process

• Coordinating with engineering, project management, and production to ensure feasibility

• Attending project meetings, construction meetings, and client visits when necessary

• Ensuring proper archiving of calculations and documents

• Staying up to date with developments in the field
