AECOM is seeking a Technology & Security Consultant (Mission Critical AV Consultant) to be based in our Arlington, VA office.  This position is also eligible for a remote working situation. 
The Technology & Security Consultant will be responsible for the following items: 
• Consultants will build sales revenue by uncovering and developing opportunities directly through end-users, and architects
• The Technology & Security Consultant will be responsible for evaluating, coordinating, educating, and managing the needs of end users' accounts to fulfill high-demand / high-volume projects
• The selected individual will use their understanding of AV applications, including signal path and basic systems application and design, to provide valuable consultation to end user clients
• The position will develop and build long-term relationships, identify and leverage new opportunities and emerging trends
• Directly manage Targeted end user accounts and Architects
• Develop and implement specifications for a regional strategy
• Develop and implement end-user strategy
• Vertical focus based on evaluations: Gov’t. Broadcast, Higher-Ed, House of Worship, Transportation, Hospitality, Financial and vertical application -Digital signage / Control Room

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
• Solid working knowledge of Professional Audio Visual and Video / Audio systems
• Five (5) years of professional experience in the AV / IT industry 
• Must be able to provide for a safe home office working environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good computer and database skills with proficiency in using the internet and Microsoft Office suite of software including Word, Excel and Outlook (or related e-mail system)
• Ability to operate/work in a high growth & entrepreneurial environment
• Motivated, self-starter who desires success
• Demonstrated ability to be customer focused and responsive to questions and needs
• Ability to work in a team environment, and leverage additional resources as needed
• Proven ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
• Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Proven ability to make sound decisions within established guidelines
• Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government law
• Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload based upon organization or department needs
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time
• Excellent project management and planning skills, while providing high attention to details
• Must possess high degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
