Role: Technology Lead - Android
Duration: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Plano,TX

Job Description:

*Required Skills: “Must” have these skills to be minimally qualified.
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science
• 2+ years of software engineering (coding) experience in Android apps
• 5+ years of software engineering (coding) experience in C++ or Java
• Experience with Android SDK versions 5 and above
• Experience in architecting and developing networking and/or secure applications for Android
• A firm understanding of building mobile applications that utilize web-services (either HTTP based, XML, SOAP, JSON or other services), in order to tie mobile client applications to critical server-side APIs
• Expertise of advanced software engineering concepts, most importantly object oriented design, hypermedia, device management, semi-native & html5 technologies, and memory management
• Ability to contribute to a team of engineers in cross-functional teams (including QA, Product Management, etc)
• Expertise or familiarity with well-designed user interfaces

Desired Skills:
• Experience releasing an Android app to the Play Store.
• Experience developing on iOS or other mobile device is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. B.S./M.S. in Computer Science
