About the role and what you'll be doing

Do you get excited by joining a team on the cutting edge of legacy modernization? In this role, you will be working with a team of experts responsible for delivering a quality product to the client on schedule. Ensono migrates legacy applications to modern platforms, such as Java Spring and C# .NET, using automated tools. You will be taking a key role on projects, improving the core classes for the client’s modernized environment, and mentoring other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Applying Java or C# coding skills in Visual Studio modernization environment

• Developing our Java or C# libraries for modernized environments

• Setting up testing to ensure that modernized programs function correctly

• Analyzing problems found during testing and applying code corrections and improvements

• Coordinating solutions with the team while identifying and implementing process improvements to boost productivity

• Providing consultation and teachable moments to more junior members of the team

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of coding experience in Java or C#

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in software testing, debugging, troubleshooting

• Problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills

• Experience with -

• Object-oriented programming in Java or C#, or similar languages

• Eclipse Or Visual Studio

• Java or.NET

• Relational Databases (SQL/MYSQL/ORACLE)

• Ability to mentor junior colleagues on the team

• Undergraduate/Post Graduate degree, coding boot camp certification, or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with legacy languages or databases - Mainframe, IDEAL, COBOL, CICS, JCL, Datacom, DB2
