Role: Technology Architect - Microservices development using Docker, Java 1.8, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
Duration: Full Time
Location: Plano, TX

Qualifications
Basic
•Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with IT.

Preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks
• At least 1 year of experience in the following –
• Knowledge of Micro service Development, Spring, Scrum/Agile.
• Architecture Style: Microservices, Cloud Native, API First, Serverless
• Target Environment: Amazon Web Services (Lambda, EC2 Container Services, VPC)
• Platform: Docker, Java 1.8, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, NodeJS
• Tools: SonarQube, Jenkins, Git, Confluence, Jira, ELK, CloudFormation

Experience with the following technologies is a plus -

• Data Platform: Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Redis, S3
• Data Streaming: Kinesis
• Security: OpenID Connect OAuth2 (Azure AD), JWT
• Testing: Selenium, JBehave, JUnit, Protractor, Jasmine, Karma
• Process: DevOps, CI/CD, Scrum / Agile, 3-week Sprints
• UI Development: Responsive Web Design using Angular, Ionic
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure IaaS
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point
• Analytical skills
