Aypa Power, a Blackstone portfolio company, is a leading developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable projects that power our communities and cities. As a leader in our industry, we have over 22 GW of utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable energy projects in development and 33 projects in operation or construction across North America.
Details:
• Paid, full-time summer internship
• The internship period is June 8, 2026 - August 14, 2026
• Must be based in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate for the duration of the internship period
• Will be required to work in person from the office located in the Domain
Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and refining energy price forecasting models by leveraging generative AI tools such as TimeGPT;
• Collaborate with team members to research and implement innovative AI-driven approaches that streamline workflows and improve decision-making processes within the energy storage sector.
Key Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or industry equivalent and/or working towards a graduate degree (MA) is desirable;
• A strong interest in the renewable energy sector and a passion for decarbonization initiatives;
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence.
