Technician - Precision Fitting (1 Year Renewable Contract)

Purpose: Responsible for installing fittings (pins, inserts, tubing) into precision parts and components within a cleanroom environment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to customer requirements, specifications, and strict cleanliness standards. Additionally, responsible for supporting process implementation, performing administrative tasks in production, and assisting with the movement and packaging of parts, which may require lifting and carrying loads.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Operate lifting equipment to move, lift and carry assembling parts and components by utilizing proper lifting techniques in accordance with safety standards to prevent damage.
• Conduct pre-checks in the work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a clean and organized environment before fitting operations.
• Perform fitting operations according to instructions on process plan that has been established with specific accuracy to ensure efficiency in work process.
• Interpret technical drawings and Bill of Materials to perform fitting operations accurately and efficiently.
• Install fittings (pins, inserts, tubing) into precision parts and components, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Inspect installed fittings inserts for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet specifications and requirements.
• Maintain and manage all recordings (E.g. serial numbers, part numbers and installation dates) of fitting operations to ensure accuracy for reporting on delivery status such as the duration and quality in production.
• Prepare parts for the next operation by packing them accordingly to defined procedures to ensure there is no contamination and damage.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace, following 5S and cleanroom standards, adhering to safety protocols and regulations, and preventing contamination.

Requirements:
• Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent course.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and Bill of Materials is preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and manoeuvre loads safely (training provided).
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict cleanliness standards (training provided).
• Attention to details and quality standards.
