MFM Limited Partnership is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for the TEMPORARY POSITION of Shop Lube Technician to join our operation at Kearl Lake. MFM Limited Partnership, a Mikisew Group company, provides comprehensive Client services in vehicle inspection and light duty repair and overhead crane services.
Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off, 11.50 hours per day. Work is conducted under an Hours of Work Averaging Arrangement (HWAA) - formerly known as a Compressed Work Week.
Work Location: Position will be based at the Kearl Lake facility, located North of Fort McMurray, AB.
Key Responsibilities:
Changing oil and filters as outlined in PM task lists
Executing and completing detailed inspection reports as provided
Collecting compartment oil samples for analysis and monitoring
Cut open oil filters for inspection
Basic maintenance repairs such as lights, wiper blades, etc.
Ensure work areas are cleaned
Spot washing of equipment when required
Cleaning of equipment cabs if required
Moving of equipment to prepare for maintenance if required
Follow worksite safety policies and practices
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Experience in maintenance and repair
Heavy Equipment Technician Pre-App (preferred)
Grade 12 Diploma
Forklift certification
Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driver's abstract
Standard First Aid
Able to carry out written and oral instructions
Able to lift up to 50lbs
Able to successfully obtain clearance of a Pre-access Alcohol & Drug Screening test
