Technician - High Pressure Water (HPW)

About the role

FIFO to Karratha on a 3/1 roster for 2 swings starting on the 26th of January until end of March

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed pre-start checks, ensure equipment is safe, functional and appropriate for the specific task.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting tools
• Execute tasks such as tank cleaning, pipe cleaning, vessel internal cleaning and surface preparation as directed.
• Prepare accurate job documentation such as pre-start checklists, risk assessments, permit-to-work records, and work completion reports.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members about hazards, progress, and any deviations.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:

• MSMSS00018 - Operate a High-Pressure Water Jetting System
• Ability to pass site medical - OEUK
• White Card
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in using technical tools and equipment related to the project.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry (valid within 2 years) are advantageous.
• BASIC Rigging (desirable).
