Join our team:
Forté Specialty Contractors is looking for our next Custom Home Maintenance Technician. Our CHMT will work at the direction of the Custom Home Maintenance Manager, working to complete the maintenance, adjustments, and changes made to our clients’ homes.
This position is based in Las Vegas, NV.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Help perform the inspection of the property, identifying any faulty equipment, damaged structures/equipment.
Execute the plans of the CHM Manager to the exact specifications outlined in the project plans (be it mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or any other project type).
Perform the removal, adjustments, and changes to each property with extreme care and precision.
Assist in the creation/implementation of preventative maintenance procedures.
Work with the sub-contracted drywalling, welders/fabricators, carpenters, and laborers to ensure each individual task is completed in correct fashion.
Utilizing programs such as Service Titan to track, document, and complete the administrative side of the project.
Other job duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
Certifications from an accredited trade school in any of the below trades is strongly preferred:
Electrical
Carpentry
Plumbing
Mechanical/HVAC
Interior design, construction management, maintenance engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience preferred.
Knowledge of residential construction and finishes.
Knowledge and familiarity in working with power/hand tools to complete various required tasks.
2+ years’ experience in home maintenance, alteration, or construction.
Ability to start and stop work orders in a timely manner.
Sharp attention to detail and ability to adhere to timelines.
Operational and/or experience in the construction industry preferred.
