Technician - Electrical

Job Brief

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician - Electrical to join our team at Agility. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation and safety of our electrical systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, locate the cause of a breakdown, and correct the problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components for hazards, defects, and compliance with codes.
• Advise management on hazardous equipment operations.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and fixtures according to job specifications and local codes.
• Maintain accurate records and files, prepare necessary reports, and manage supplies and equipment.
• Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights, generators, flares, and other necessary equipment.

Requirements:
Your Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in electrical work.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician.

Your Proficiencies

• Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment including measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
