Technical Writer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Technical Writer with 2–3 years of working experience to join our Product / Development team and help in the creation, management, and delivery of high-quality product documentation. The ideal candidate will translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation while collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create clear, structured documentation including user guides, training manuals, CBT/e-learning content, installation guides, configuration manuals, and release notes.

• Translate complex product functionality into simple, easy-to-understand documentation for customers and internal teams.

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to understand new features and product capabilities.

• Maintain, update, and publish documentation through the company’s Content Management System (CMS).

• Own documentation deliverables for assigned product areas across the product lifecycle.

• Participate in feature discussions, sprint reviews, and product demonstrations to understand new functionality and ensure accurate documentation.

• Ensure documentation is aligned with product releases and updated with each feature enhancement or update.

• Help improve documentation standards, templates, and overall content organization.

• Support backend documentation management and content updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 when required.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve the user learning experience and the effectiveness of product documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong technical writing, editing, and documentation structuring skills.

• Ability to simplify complex technical information into clear, actionable documentation.

• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and documentation publishing tools.

• Working knowledge or exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 backend/admin environment.

• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with product managers, engineers, and SMEs.

• Ability to understand technical products and communicate their functionality clearly to different audiences.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced product or technology environments.

• Exposure to documentation best practices, structured documentation, or Markdown is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development environments is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum: 2 years of experience in technical writing or product documentation.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in technical documentation within SaaS, enterprise software, or product-based companies.

Education/Qualification:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.

• Preferred: Certifications or training in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or Documentation Tools.
