Join Solidigm’s Backend Manufacturing team as a Technical Writing Intern to create and refine technical documentation that enhances process clarity and operational efficiency across areas like SSD development, factory automation, and quality leadership.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate Technical Writer to learn and contribute to Solidigm's Backend Manufacturing operations. As an intern, you will collaborate closely with technical experts and leadership teams to create, organize, and refine technical documents and resources that drive efficiency, process understanding, and communication across multi-disciplinary teams.
You will gain exposure to a range of focus areas, including:

• NAND Component Manufacturing

• SSD Manufacturing
• Factory/Data Automation
• Label and Packaging
• Quality Leadership
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including process guides, reports, and presentations.
• Work closely with engineers and leaders to capture and translate complex manufacturing concepts into easy-to-understand technical materials for diverse audiences.
• Assist in creating process flow documentation, training manuals, and organization of manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate in the design and format of visual data representations, presentation decks, and packaging/label content.
• Ensure documentation compliance with Solidigm's quality and branding standards.
• Participate in meetings and brainstorm with team members to continuously improve operations in backend manufacturing.
Required:
• Currently enrolled in an university program in one of the following fields: English, Communications, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• English proficiency.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred:
• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology.
• Bilingual proficiency.
• Experience with applying AI algorithms to help quickly access technical documentation.
Working Conditions:
• This is a hybrid internship position, requiring three days per week onsite and two days remote.
• Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Flexibility may be required to accommodate meetings with colleagues across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, which could involve occasional adjustments to your schedule.
