Technical Writer

Position Summary:

This role will work as part of our R&D Engineering team, handling all technical writing tasks, based out of our R&D facility in East Petersburg, PA.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the Captiveaire Engineers to write any new work instructions

• Assist and maintain documentation of products

• Maintain regulatory files and listings

• Help maintain website product information

• Handle communications and product updates with Engineering group

Job Requirements:

• Strong written communication skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deadlines

• Ability to write about technical subjects for both technical and nontechnical audiences

• MUST BE A “GO GETTER”!

• THIS IS NOT A REMOTE ROLE.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in a technical field or BS/BA in a non-technical field with demonstrated technical writing/communication skills.

• 0-3 yrs experience preferred

• Prior writing experience for mechanically oriented products

Salary:

$65k-$95k base, negotiable dependent on experience, with additional monthly bonus based on productivity and profits.
