Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of ProgressSoft’s products and services. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to understand software specifications, business workflows, and functionalities to produce comprehensive business documents and end-user manuals.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development and technical teams to gain a deep understanding of ProgressSoft’s product requirements and workflows.
• Produce high-quality documentation in both Arabic and English that meets company standards and is tailored to the target audience.
• Develop and maintain user manuals, FAQs, step-by-step guides, and training materials.
• Proofread technical and business documents prior to delivery to ProgressSoft’s clients.
• Translate business and technical documents (from Arabic to English and vice versa), ensuring clarity and structure for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain version control and ensure consistency across all documentation.
• Review and regularly update existing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent command of both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Good team player and committed to timelines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong writing skills with proven experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Tools; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Draw.io)
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Product)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
• Prior experience in the payments domain is a plus.
