Activ8 Solar Energies are actively seeking a Technical Trainer to join our Technical Training team. The ideal candidate would be based in the Munster region to help support and train our installations teams in that area.

The Opportunity:

As a Technical Trainer in Activ8, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering training programmes focused on solar PV system installation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain comprehensive training programmes for Solar PV Installation which includes theory & practical learning.

Deliver hands on training focused on installation techniques, safety protocols and equipment handling.

Assess and certify trainees through evaluations, ensuring their knowledge meets industry standards.

Work closely with cross functional teams and foster a positive working relationship.

Coordinate with equipment suppliers for specialised training sessions.

Regularly update training programmes, Incorporate new technologies, industry trends & regulatory changes while staying current with industry standards.

Introduce new training methods to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.

Requirements:

Prior experience in delivering Technical Training & Instruction with a proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programmes would be an advantage.

Strong technical expertise in either Electrical or Roofing industries.

Trade qualifications would be desirable.

Experience in solar PV system installation, maintenance and troubleshooting will be advantageous.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical information to trainees of various skill levels.

Adaptability and continuous learning to stay current in industry advancements, new technologies and evolving training methodologies.
