Technical Team Lead - Frontend

​​​​​​Your job will be to develop a part of a distributed system that serves the hospitality industry. The system consists of many domain-oriented microservices developed under a few cross-functional teams. You can bring a smile on the faces of thousands of people working in hotels across the globe. 

• driving team technically - pushing team members to follow internal standards during Code Review (code quality, responsibility division, Unit/Integration Tests) and during feature implementation
• coordination of planning, task assignment, high level estimations
• responsibility for module - releases, critical bugs management
• technical tasks management - planning refactors, updating packages, test coverage
• active contribution in team meetings including close cooperation with all departments: QA, Backend, Product and UI/UX
• sharing knowledge with the team and developing competences of the team - being inspiration for the team, providing the highest quality standards
• cooperation with Frontend / UI/UX Core Teams and Architects

• minimum 5 years’ experience as JavaScript or Front-End Developer
• team management experience (code reviews, task assignment, planning including blockers and dependencies, estimations - high level and detailed)
• advanced understanding of JavaScript ES6/TypeScript
• SOLID understanding of best practices, processes and design patterns in software development, general awareness of web application performance best practices
• knowledge about frontend application architecture (finding solution dedicated to problem) and state management
• experience in work with or contribute to a JavaScript based build system
• experience with React, React Hooks and Redux
• Ember is nice to have
• good knowledge of: HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Jest/Enzyme, Web Components
• good English, both written and spoken is a must
