Chefman is seeking a Technical Sustaining Project Manager to own post-launch product support, improvements, and lifecycle management across our electromechanical product portfolio. This role works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure products remain reliable, compliant, and cost-effective in market.
Responsibilities
• Lead sustaining activities across multiple product lines
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans with Engineering and Quality
• Manage component changes, product updates, and end-of-life transitions
• Coordinate with overseas factories and suppliers on implementation
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to track timelines, risks, and deliverables
• Maintain clear documentation and communication across global teams
• Support ongoing reliability, compliance, and cost-reduction initiatives
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
• 5+ years of project management experience in consumer electronics, appliances, or electromechanical products
• Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies, PCBs, and firmware integration
• Ability to translate technical detail into clear actions for cross-functional teams
• Experience working with overseas factories (China/Taiwan preferred)
• Proficiency with project management tools (monday.com, MS Project, or similar)
• Willingness to travel as needed; Mandarin is a plus
Salary Range (commensurate with experience)
$100,000—$130,000 USD
