Job Summary: The company is looking to recruit an experienced Tech Support Engineer specializing in solar energy systems, IoT-based monitoring solutions, and data analytics for solar PV plants. Adept at hardware selection, configuration & Installation, vendor management, software troubleshooting, and SCADA system implementation. 

More specifically, the job requires taking ownership of the following accountabilities:

Design and configure IoT-based monitoring solutions for solar PV plants, including dataloggers (Webdyn, Wattmon, Suryalogix) and sensors.

Analyze site-specific technical requirements to select appropriate monitoring hardware.

Develop and implement communication architectures for solar plants (500kW to MW scale).

Evaluate and negotiate with hardware vendors for cost-effective and reliable solutions.

Configure and integrate multiple data logger brands with servers and cloud platforms.

Oversee SCADA system implementation for open-access projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (SLDC communication, forecasting obligations).

Finalize PLC and SCADA software selection, preparing RFQs and evaluating technical proposals.

Software & Data Analytics: FileZilla, statistical data analysis

Solar PV System Design & Simulation: AutoCAD, PVsyst, PowerWorld, SketchUp, Helioscope

Project Management & Collaboration: Asana, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google sheets

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

4+ years of experience in solar energy systems, IoT monitoring, and SCADA integration

Proven expertise in technical support, asset management, and system development
