Validate: A recruiter validates the candidates’ experience and skill sets against our client’s position.
Initial Screening: Based on the position and the client’s work culture, the recruiter uses initial screening questions to determine the most suitable candidates.
Submit: the recruiter will submit to the technical team qualified candidates who have passed the initial screening.
Technical Screening: The technical team then prepares a matrix of the particular requirements and required experience for the position and using a list of questions and the results, re-validates the candidates’ technical skills.
Background Check: Administrative personnel will provide a detailed background check, as required, per client agreement.
On board: On successfully completing the above steps, the candidates are welcomed on board and assisted to ensure a smooth integration at the client’s location.
• Oversee the support and maintenance of the Mobile Video Recorder environment and associated police vehicle technology solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts of highly complex issues related to connection performance issues and outages of the Mobile Video Recorder environment.
• Coordinate and communicate activities with various internal and external technical and business partners.
• Responsible for determining root cause analysis and implementation of any corrective actions and policies.
• Make recommendations for improvements to the overall in-car video design, configuration, and security of the Mobile Office environment and associated police vehicle technology solutions.
• Provide management reports and analytics on utilization, performance, availability and storage upon request.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of technical professionals that includes Commonwealth employees and Commonwealth contracted vendors.
• Monitor and track Mobile Video Recorder operational issues to ensure the stability of the overall MVR environment.
• Responsible for configuration of video management, retention, availability and policy in coordination with the appropriate business owner of the agency.
Required Skills:
Experience with format project management methodology
4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Strong leadership and organization skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical environment
Must have excellent diagnostic troubleshooting skills
3 – 5 years of experience in desktop support
3 - 5 years of experience with wired and wireless software configurations
3 - 5 years of experience with wireless access points communication
8 – 10 years of Networking experience, specifically with routers and switches
3 – 5 years of Broadband and Aircard experience
