OVERVIEW

Technical Friends play a key role in resolving SEO-related technical issues that affect site health, crawlability, indexation, and performance. This role involves reviewing audit outputs, implementing CMS-specific fixes, and improving technical benchmarks such as Core Web Vitals. It requires familiarity with CMS platforms and SEO tooling and the ability to deploy changes safely within SOP-driven workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Resolve page-level and site-wide issues flagged in technical audits, including:

• Missing or duplicate title/meta tags

• Broken internal/external links

• Improper header tag structures

• Canonicalization and sitemap issues

• Improve Core Web Vitals performance, focusing on:

• Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)

• First Contentful Paint (FCP)

• Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)

• Overall page load and interactivity

• Implement structured data (schema markup) across relevant page types.

• Make CMS-specific changes across WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow using built-in tools or plugins.

• Use tools like Screaming Frog, Semrush, and Google Search Console to verify progress and QA fixes.

• Work in alignment with MEGA’s SOPs and escalate issues that fall outside of routine workflows.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT QUALIFICATIONS

2–10 years of hands-on experience with technical SEO.

• Deep knowledge of crawlability, indexation, structured data, and page performance factors.

• Ability to implement fixes across WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms.

• Familiarity with technical SEO tools like Screaming Frog, RankMath, Yoast, and GSC.

• Comfortable performing QA and addressing complex site issues independently.

• Strong execution mindset with focus on reliability and task completeness.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.

• SEO or digital marketing certifications (optional but valuable):

• Google Analytics, Google Search Console

• SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog SEO Spider

Language Skills:

• Above-average communication skills in English
