Job description

We are looking for a Technical Security Officer (TSO) to bridge the gap between policy documentation and technical implementation. As TSO, you are ensuring our platforms meet their security requirements by actively implementing, remediating, and maintaining technical security controls for iChoosr’s Information Security Management System (ISO 27001:2022) across Engineering and IT Support. This means implementing and maintaining technical controls and mitigating measures required for ISO 27001 compliance across Platforms & Technology.

In this role, you will be hands-on in strengthening our technical security posture, translating security requirements into concrete actions across our infrastructure, cloud environment, and development processes. You provide guidance to teams on security matters, manage our security tooling landscape, work closely with the DevOps Lead on cloud security, and serve as the technical voice in security discussions. A key part of this role is also audit readiness: preparing technical evidence for internal and external audits and ensuring our teams can demonstrate compliance when asked.

You will work closely with our Legal & Privacy Officer, and with Engineering, Data, and IT Support to identify and resolve security gaps, embed security best practices into day-to-day technology development and operations, and ensure continuous audit readiness. As the technical owner of security controls, you will play a key role in reducing risk while supporting iChoosr’s growth and innovation. You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This is a part-time role (0.8 FTE), offering flexibility and close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
