Technical Sales Manager - Quantum Technologies @ R&S Japan

Zurich Instruments is a leader in advanced test and measurement instruments and control electronics for quantum computing. Our solutions support scientists and high-tech companies worldwide in pioneering research and developing next-generation quantum computers.

For this position, you will be employed by our parent company, Rohde & Schwarz Japan, on site in Japan, while working closely with the Zurich Instruments team and customers.

Your responsibilities:
• Provide quantum solutions to ensure scientific and commercial success
• Deliver application-specific support, including on-site system integration
• Maintain and establish customer contacts to secure future sales and support market growth
• Represent Zurich Instruments at trade shows, engage with opinion leaders, and conduct customer visits mainly in Japan
• Produce marketing material, including presentations, product documentation, and videos
• Collaborate on defining and driving sales strategy in Japan with global stakeholders

Your profile:
• PhD or Master's in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with a relevant background in quantum technologies
• Solid scientific track record with practical lab experience, including RF/microwave signal generation and measurement
• Programming experience with scientific instrumentation, preferable with Python
• Sales experience or a keen interest in developing your skills in this area
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Japanese; good English skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and familiarity with basic marketing strategies are an advantage
