Technical Project Manager – BESS Container Platform (m/f/d)

Your Role:
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead development of our containerized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) platform as a series product—scalable to series manufacturing. You will drive cross-functional engineering execution from requirements and concept alignment through prototyping, validation, and release to production. You will work on exciting projects on the edge of battery innovation like our published nordics collaboration.

Your mission:
• Own platform development scope, timeline, milestones, risks, and reporting; run development gates (concept → prototype → validation → release)
• Coordinate interfaces across mechanical, electrical, controls/software, thermal, and safety subsystems with external and internal engineering resources
• Translate customer and internal needs into requirements and acceptance criteria; manage version control and documentation
• Coordinate technical suppliers/partners (specs, reviews, deliverables, quality gates); support make/buy trade-offs
• Support validation, certification documentation, and handover to production

Note: This role is focused on in-house product development and industrialization.

Your profile:
• Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or similar)
• 3–8 years of experience in a related technical field (technical project management, systems engineering, product industrialization, or complex engineering products)
• Strong stakeholder management, structured working style, and project tooling (e.g., Jira/Confluence, MS Project)
• Experience working with intercultural partners in an ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) setup (e.g., supplier-led design, requirement/spec management, quality gates, and change control across time zones and cultures)
• Languages: Fluent English, good German is a plus, Chinese knowledge is beneficial
