The Technical & Project Management Assistant supports the Head of IT and technology teams by coordinating projects, maintaining documentation, tracking technical tasks, generating reports, and assisting with operational and platform-related activities. This role focuses on project, operational, and technical support.
Responsibilities
Project Management Support:
- Support planning, tracking, and reporting of infrastructure, software, and security projects.
- Maintain project dashboards, KPIs, and weekly reports.
- Track dependencies, risks, blockers, and deadlines.
- Follow up with engineering, DevOps, BI, security, operations, and business teams.
- Support BCP/DR simulations and documentation.
- Prepare technical presentations, architecture summaries, and structured project documentation.
Technical & Operational Support:
- Maintain Jira workflows, boards, automations, and issue taxonomy.
- Support Confluence structure, documentation templates, and IT knowledge base organization.
- Assist with user and access administration across platforms.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and coordinate with IT/DevOps.
- Assist in monitoring alerts, logs, and incident summaries.
- Create SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with vendors, assist with RFPs, gather technical data, and prepare comparisons.
Required Skills & Competencies
Experience
- 2–5 years in PMO, technical coordination, or IT operational support roles.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary technology teams.
- Proven ability to manage complex task tracking and documentation.
- Understanding of IT systems, cloud, networks, and applications.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Ability to create diagrams using Draw.io, Mermaid, etc.
- Experience preparing dashboards, KPIs, and status reports.
- Strong spreadsheet and reporting proficiency.
Preferred
- Experience in PMO, technical coordination, or IT operations.
- Knowledge of agile/DevOps workflows or incident management.
- Experience interacting with engineering, IT, and business teams.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)
- Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I).
- ITIL Foundation.
- CompTIA Project+.
- Google Project Management Certificate.
- Jira Administration Certification.
- Agile or Kanban certifications.
- Basic cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
- PMI-ACP® – Agile Certified Practitioner
- CAPM® – Certified Associate in Project Management
