We are hiring a Technical Project Coordinator in our Manila HQ who knows how to build things from the ground up, someone who will work as a skilled technical expert guiding clients from concept to completion.

In this role you will be responsible for the end to end coordination of projects that entrepreneurs and enterprises on Freelancer want completed. This includes a wide range of sectors and technologies, from mobile games for solo founders to custom SaaS solutions for small businesses.

This role suits someone with strong client-facing experience and a hands-on builder's mindset, like a startup founder or product manager who knows how to turn vision into reality. You'll work directly with clients to shape their ideas into clear specifications, manage freelancers, oversee agile development, and drive projects from concept through to successful delivery. One day you might be guiding the launch of a mobile app, the next helping a founder build their first SaaS product. You will be working from our Manila HQ alongside our amazing team of Account Managers under the Managed Services Group.

The impact you’ll make in the team

With our mission to provide one billion jobs across the globe, we are in need of a Technical Project Coordinator who’ll be willing to take our company to the next level! As a sneak peak of behind the scenes, you’ll be able to:

• Partner with clients to understand their business ideas and translate them into detailed technical project plans, scopes, and timelines.
• Act as an intermediary between clients and freelancers. Liaising with clients, providing expert guidance, regular updates, and managing expectations to bring visions to life.
• Oversee project execution from inception to launch, identifying risks, troubleshooting issues, and applying lessons from real-world building experiences (e.g., startup pivots or failures).
• Facilitate collaboration through meetings, workshops, and demos, ensuring alignment between clients, developers, and stakeholders.
• Track progress, budgets, and deliverables with project management tools, while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Contribute to process enhancements by leveraging technical expertise to optimize workflows and foster innovation in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in coordinating technical projects, product management, or similar roles in the past.
• Familiarity with current web and mobile technologies, and a strong interest in staying up to date with tech trends.
• Good technical understanding, ideally with hands-on experience in product development, web/mobile projects, or cloud-based applications.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, etc)
• Efficient in managing multiple projects, prioritizing, and thriving in a client-focused, results-oriented environment, with the ability to lead stand-up meetings with clients and provide timely feedback.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or bootcamp certifications.
