Our client is a young, high-growth software product company backed by a prestigious international group. They are dedicated to building modern software products and internal platforms by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, rigorous engineering practices, and an AI-first approach to development.
They are currently seeking a Technical Product Owner who possesses the ability to translate complex operational needs into crystal-clear, implementation-ready specifications that drive product quality and engineering excellence.
Responsibilities
• Own product areas within the admin back-office platform;
• Gather and structure requirements from stakeholders;
• Write high-quality specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, edge cases, and business rules;
• Maintain and prioritize Azure DevOps backlog items;
• Work closely with engineering and QA throughout implementation;
• Clarify permissions, validations, API behaviors, data flows, and state transitions;
• Help ensure product changes are well-defined, testable, and operationally sound;
• Balance business needs, user experience, technical constraints, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
• Proven track record as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a hybrid role within a complex software environment;
• Superior written specification and documentation skills, with a focus on creating clear, unambiguous, and implementation-ready requirements;
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to map out complex workflows, state transitions, and cross-system dependencies;
• Excellent communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams;
• Deep technical literacy, including a solid understanding of REST API concepts, API contracts, and feature flags;
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps for managing boards, user stories, bugs, and sprint workflows;
• Experience with multi-tenant or multi-store product logic, including reasoning through data flows across frontend, backend, and background jobs;
• Awareness of technical nuances such as validation, concurrency, and complex system integrations;
• Strongly preferred domain experience in iGaming, Payments, KYC/AML, Compliance, or CRM/Support systems;
• Background in promotions, segmentation, or marketing operations is highly valued;
• Strong bonus for familiarity with AI-assisted product workflows, including using AI for requirement shaping, specification drafting, and analysis support.
