About Vitestro
Founded in 2017 in Utrecht, Vitestro is pioneering the future of blood collection with the Aletta® Autonomous Robotic Phlebotomy Device™ (ARPD™). This groundbreaking medical device combines advanced multi-modal imaging (near-infrared, ultrasound, and Doppler ultrasound) with robotics and AI to perform the entire diagnostic blood draw procedure autonomously.
By addressing critical healthcare staffing shortages and improving patient experience, Vitestro is transforming one of the most common and essential medical procedures. With more than 90 team members and growing rapidly, we are scaling our impact. As we placed our first devices with customers, we are now expanding our team to ensure successful implementation and long-term reliability.
At Vitestro, we are committed to continuous innovation and improvement.
Join us as our new Product Owner in Platform & Connectivity. In this role, you will define and drive the Cloud & Connectivity platform that powers Aletta® devices, enabling secure communication, stable operation, and seamless integration within hospitals. This is a unique opportunity offering a vibrant environment for innovation and ownership.
With our team at a pivotal phase of growth, it’s the perfect time for dynamic individuals like you to contribute and make an impact. As we continue scaling our connected medical device platform, we’re strengthening our team with a Product Owner.
About the role
We are looking for a Product Owner to join the Platform Team and maximize the value delivered by Vitestro’s Cloud & Connectivity Platform, the technology layer that ensures Aletta® devices communicate securely and reliably with Vitestro’s cloud services. In this role, you will own and prioritize the team backlog, translating user, technical, and regulatory needs into platform capabilities that deliver reliable connectivity, predictable data flows, and secure operation across clinical environments.
Connectivity is at the core of our product experience. It ensures devices can securely reach Vitestro services, remain remotely observable, receive over-the-air updates, and exchange data in a safe and compliant manner, all while integrating cleanly into hospital IT environments.
As Product Owner, you will work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Cybersecurity, Customer Success, and QA/RA to translate clinical, regulatory, and technical requirements into a clear product direction. You will serve as the external-facing point of the team, collaborating with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers to ensure alignment, adoption, and successful integration of our connectivity capabilities.
You will align backlog priorities with Product Management objectives to ensure consistency across the product portfolio.
If you enjoy bringing clarity to complex systems and building the foundational connectivity layer of a regulated, high-tech product, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute at scale. Your work will directly influence how healthcare professionals and patients experience autonomous blood collection worldwide.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Own the team backlog and contribute to the platform roadmap, focusing on reliable, scalable, and secure device connectivity.
• Define and prioritize cloud and connectivity capabilities that enable stable device operations.
• Align with internal and external stakeholders as the point of contact for the team.
• Collaborate with engineering on data flows, integrations, and technical requirements.
• Ensure platform features meet cybersecurity, reliability, and regulatory standards.
• Engage directly with users to validate assumptions and improve connectivity experience.
• Monitor and deliver key KPIs and OKRs such as uptime, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to CE and regulatory submissions where connectivity is involved.
• Share progress through demos and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement.
