About the role: 

As Product Manager – Data & AI Platform (m/f/d), you own our internal Data & AI Platform as a product and shape the foundation for scalable analytics, machine learning, and GenAI use cases across the company. You empower engineers, data scientists, and analysts with reliable, secure, and self-service capabilities that measurably increase experimentation speed, model reliability, and data-driven decision-making. 

You will work at the intersection of Platform Engineering, Data, and AI teams and treat internal users as customers – balancing innovation, governance, and usability while driving real adoption and impact. 

About the tech stack: 

Our ecosystem includes modern cloud-native and AI technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Databricks, MLflow, Feature Stores, event-driven architectures, observability tooling, and secure cloud environments. 

About your tasks: 

• Shape and evolve the vision, strategy, and roadmap of our Data & AI Platform – enabling scalable ML, MLOps, GenAI, and advanced analytics use cases across the organization. 
• Drive customer-centric product discovery with data scientists and engineers using continuous discovery, behavioral insights, and opportunity-solution thinking to prioritize high-impact platform capabilities. 
• Translate strategic goals into a prioritized product roadmap and backlog, ensuring maximum value delivery. 
• Define and track Data & AI platform KPIs such as model deployment frequency, experimentation cycle time, data reliability, feature reuse, platform adoption, and AI product time-to-market. 
• Act as the primary product contact for the Data & AI Platform, aligning stakeholders across Analytics, ML and AI. 
• Champion secure, compliant, and cost-aware AI-by-design defaults including governance, observability, reproducibility, and responsible AI standards. 
• Lead platform adoption through enablement, documentation, golden paths (covering 70–80% of use cases), migration strategies, and compelling narratives engineers actually care about. 

About you: 

• Proven experience as a Product Manager for Data Platforms, ML Platforms, AI infrastructure, or developer platforms. 
• Strong understanding of databricks lakehouse architecture, cloud computing, data ingestion architectures, and modern MLOps practices. 
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Discovery, Opportunity Solution Trees, experimentation frameworks, and platform KPI management. 
• You think in systems and trade-offs, are comfortable challenging senior engineers, and enjoy optimizing for end-to-end impact over local efficiency.
