Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Onboarding Specialist with a strong technical background and recruitment experience to manage and optimize the onboarding journey for new technical hires. Ensuring new joiners are well-prepared, engaged, and productive from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Employee Experience
• Own the end-to-end onboarding process for technical roles (Instructors, Developers, Technical Support, Operations).
• Prepare and deliver structured onboarding plans, schedules, and orientation sessions.
• Ensure all onboarding documentation, contracts, and system accesses are completed before Day 1.
• Act as the main point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period.
• Track onboarding progress and address any challenges or gaps early.
Technical Alignment
• Collaborate with technical teams to explain tools, platforms, curricula, and workflows to new hires.
• Support technical assessments, system walkthroughs, and platform setup.
• Ensure new joiners understand technical expectations, KPIs, and role-specific processes.
• Translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language when needed.
Recruitment & Hiring Support
• Participate in technical interviews and evaluations when required.
• Support candidate handover from recruitment to onboarding smoothly.
• Provide feedback to recruitment teams on candidate readiness and onboarding outcomes.
Requirements:
Education & Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in onboarding, HR operations, or recruitment, preferably in a tech or EdTech environment.
Technical Skills
• Solid understanding of technical roles, tools, and workflows.
• Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Comfortable working with HR systems, ATS, LMS, and internal platforms.
Recruitment Knowledge
• Experience supporting or managing recruitment processes for technical positions.
• Familiarity with technical interviews, assessments, and hiring workflows.
• Strong coordination skills between HR and technical stakeholders.
