Technical Manager _ UI, Java, Vice President

We are looking for a strong candidate to provide senior technical and operational leadership with a primary focus on the UI Framework teams and administrative oversight across all Platform Engineering resources in India. This role remains technically engaged while emphasizing process alignment, architectural governance, and team efficiency over direct delivery execution.

Our Platform Engineering organization is innovating and transforming our platform by moving away from monolithic software to utilizing next generation cloud-based technology that leverages Microsoft Azure, AKS, React, etc.  The UI Framework teams are an integral part of this strategic modernization.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure strong alignment across teams with respect to SDLC, Agile practices, architecture governance, and engineering standards.

• Drive team efficiency, AI adoption, operating model maturity, and cross-team collaboration across Platform engineering in India.

• Provide architectural oversight and senior technical guidance to UI Framework and Platform teams.

• Lead, mentor, and develop senior technical leaders, acting as a role model for engineering excellence.

• Partner with global stakeholders to align India-based teams with Platform strategy and roadmaps.

• Ensure compliance with Architecture, Security, Audit, and other mandatory SDLC tollgates.

• Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges and cross-team dependencies.

Qualifications:

Recommended Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field required. Advanced degree desirable.

Recommended Experience:

• 16+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Proven experience leading large, distributed engineering teams.

• Strong background in system architecture and platform engineering.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
