About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to lead our growing team. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and be comfortable working in a very fast paced environment. Teamwork is key to coordinate customer-focused activities internally within the organization. This role requires you to be a self-starter with a strong bias for action.

A Day in The Life of Our Software Architect:

• Contribute to evolving system architecture to meet business and customer needs

• Successfully manage the daily challenges of a technical environment and guide the team in resolving technical issues.

• Manage and drive complex technical projects from the planning stage through execution.

• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices and effectively manage the technical debt

• Continuously increase team members technical knowledge via mentoring and training including obtaining the appropriate certifications

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

• 10+ years working on a commercial web platform tech stack

• Proficiency in Node.js is a must have for this position

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role, including experience taking a leading role in significant technical projects

• 2+ years experience in leading team of developers

• Experience with a modern front-end framework (AngularJS)

• Experience using Source Control such as Git, CVS or SubVersion.

• Experience in relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS/RabbitMQ, API Gateway).

• Demonstrated experience building team culture and engineering processes, especially on high growth teams

• Experience working in a scrum or agile development environment

• Love of problem-solving and a demonstrable ability to self-start

• Understanding concepts and usage of CI/CD practices

• Strong communication skills
