Our Graduates Program aims to provide recent BS, MS, and PhD graduates the opportunity to experience a role at our company before committing to a team long-term. Based on their background, hires will be working on technical, clinical or business projects in our TrakCare or HealthShare teams.

This position is office-based at our Milan office. Please note that, while the majority of teams at InterSystems operate within a model that emphasizes workplace flexibility by allowing a combination of working at home (typically 2 days per week) with working in the office (typically 3 days per week), this position would be required to be in office 5 days a week throughout your first 6 months at the company.

This is a 6-month paid internship opportunity, with potential to be extended to a permanent position.

Qualifications:

• The program is intended for recent or soon-to-be graduates from a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD program

• Interdisciplinary academic work in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or other STEM subjects is required. Nursing or Medicine Degrees applications are also welcome.

• Proven prior coding experience in any programming language, including: Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, Python, or similar

• Demonstrated initiative through academic excellence, extracurricular, or work experience

• Technical and business curiosity

• Interest towards the healthcare informatics environment

• Creativity towards complex technical challenges

• Analytical mindset and collaborative attitude

• Flexible demeanor in an ever-changing work environment
