Technical Expert - Interoperability & Digital Solutions

We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Expert – Interoperability & Digital Solutions fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who would work remotely within EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Respond to user inquiries and resolve issues related to the ITB;
• Develop and maintain user guides and tutorials, for the ITB;
• Coordinate the development and maintenance of these solutions, including the identification and prioritization of technical requirements;
• Collaborate with the Programme Manager to develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and tutorials, for these solutions;
• Provide technical input and feedback on project deliverables and milestones for these solutions;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and standards in the field of interoperability and digital solutions;
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders, including Policy and Digital Ready Policy Making teams to ensure the integration and alignment of technical solutions with business strategies and goals;
• Provide technical support and training to users and stakeholders, including the development of training materials and user documentation;
• Regular reporting to the Programme Manager.

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Experience with project management (PM2, PMP);
• Experience in project management tools & methodologies;
• Good understanding of the role of interoperability in supporting the EU's digital transformation;
• Familiarity with the EU institutions' initiatives and programs aimed at promoting interoperability (e.g. European Interoperability Framework, Interoperability Europe Act);
• Excellent command of the English language.
