Your tasks:
As a Technical Expert – Function Development, you are responsible for defining and realizing complex vehicle functions across multiple domains. You act as a key technical interface between system design, software, hardware, and validation teams, ensuring robust and traceable function implementation throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Your tasks:• Drive the development of innovative L4 vehicle functions from concept to series production
• Define and maintain function-level requirements, use cases, and logical functional architectures using MBSE methodologies
• Ensure full traceability from requirements at the product level down to the subsystem and component levels, including interface and signal definitions
• Lead cross-functional technical reviews and alignments to ensure consistent function behavior across ECUs and domains
• Collaborate closely with testing and validation teams to define function verification strategies and support root-cause analysis during integration
• Act as a mentor and technical reference for junior engineers in the function development domain
Your profile:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in automotive function development or systems engineering
• Deep understanding of MBSE principles (e.g., INCOSE, Arcadia) and tools (e.g., PREEvision, SysML, Codebeamer/Jama)
• Proven experience in defining and managing function requirements and architectures
• Familiarity with automotive development processes (ASPICE, V-model, Agile)
• Experience with safety and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
