Job Description

A large enterprise organisation is seeking a Technical Expert – Enterprise Architect to support its BPMN Factory.

The mission focuses on ensuring the stability, operational continuity and technical quality of the full BPMN modelling toolchain, including modelling platforms, data repositories, automation pipelines and associated cloud services.

The role supports Enterprise Architecture and BPMN experts, without people management responsibilities, and acts as a technical reference and escalation point.

Key Responsibilities

BPMN Platform Operations & Maintenance

• Ensure availability and stability of:• Sparx Enterprise Architect
• WebEA
• PCS
• BPMN SQL repositories

• Maintain synchronisation, import and update scripts for BPMN models and metadata.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents affecting modelling, databases or automation pipelines.

BPMN Modelling Data Management

• Supervise BPMN data quality and consistency (InfoProc, InfoServ, exports, business files).
• Ensure availability of modelling artefacts for BPMN experts and process owners.
• Support maintenance of import/export and data preparation tooling.

Factory Integration & Infrastructure

• Set up and maintain enterprise repository reporting.
• Support BPMN experts during modelling, quality reviews and impact analyses.
• Ensure technical consistency for As-Is / To-Be modelling initiatives.
• Provide expert support during workshops and transformation projects.

Technical Governance & Quality

• Contribute to structuring choices (ProM, SeM, Parcours, naming conventions).
• Validate compliance of BPMN models with internal and BPMN standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of scripts, tooling, repositories and governance artefacts.

Factory Evolution

• Participate in BPMN Factory evolution workshops.
• Support pipeline improvements (automation, deployments, cloud resources).
• Take part in technical alignment and roadmap meetings.

Expected Deliverables

• Stable and maintainable BPMN scripts and automation.
• High-quality BPMN data and repositories.
• Efficient incident resolution.
• Technical documentation (procedures, runbooks, diagrams).
• Expert support to BPMN modelling and cross-functional initiatives.

Required Technical Skills (Must-have)

BPMN / Enterprise Architect Expertise

• Advanced expertise in:• Sparx Enterprise Architect
• WebEA
• PCS
• SQL-based repositories

• Excellent knowledge of the Enterprise Architect Object Model.
• Strong experience with:• Repository governance (import/export, baseline, audit)
• Custom MDG creation
• Locking strategies and versioning approaches

• Proven scripting experience in JavaScript within EA.
• Proven experience with SQL queries on EA models.
• Ability to script BPMN data quality controls.

Environments & Integrations

• Strong SQL Server knowledge.
• Experience with BPMN data synchronisation and transformation.
• Experience integrating with cloud-based automation and application services.

Operational Stability

• Strong troubleshooting skills across multi-domain environments.
• Structured analysis, documentation and recovery approach.

Required Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in large enterprise or utility-like environments.

Language Requirements

• French: C2 (mandatory)
• English: C1 (mandatory)
