DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Technical Designer who can seamlessly bridge the gap between design and engineering, transforming complex technical requirements into intuitive, scalable user experiences. You’ll play a key role in shaping a data-driven, AI-powered product for modern manufacturing, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions from concept to launch.

OUR MISSION:
Manex AI is developing an LLM-native data platform for agentic production control. Industry leaders such as BMW, Audi, BSH, Stellantis, Liebherr, Still, TDK Electronics, and Henkel already rely on Qualitatio, and leading investors such as Lightspeed Venture Partners and BlueYard Technology are backing Manex AI. Our vision is to operate factories fully autonomously with the help of Qualitatio.

YOUR ROLE:
• Work alongside designers, engineers, and product managers to enhance existing features and develop new ones
• Translate complex technical requirements into intuitive user experiences that balance usability and system capabilities
• Bridge design and engineering by ensuring design decisions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with product goals
• Take responsibility for the entire design process from ideation, prototyping and design, to testing and validation

WHAT SETS YOU UP FOR SUCCESS:
• Technical or economic-technical degree and strong entrepreneurial thinking
• 5+ years as a technical designer or engineer
• Already worked on a complex, data-heavy Product (experience with agentic AI is a plus)
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across features
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design and engineering teams, to ship impactful work
• Strong analytical and communication skills, you can explain tech to non-tech
• Curiosity for manufacturing and how factories actually run
• Based in Munich or willing to relocate, ready to go all-in with us
• Fluent in English, German is a strong plus
