• Create 3D models and visualisations to clearly communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.

• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout delivery.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
• Provide clear communication and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and output.
• Attend site visits to review progress and ensure alignment with design and technical documentation.
• Review installations and resolve on-site technical or design issues.

• BS 476 / EN 13501 (Fire ratings of materials)
• Incorporate CDM Regulations (2015) into the design process, including designer duties and risk identification and mitigation.
• Apply strong knowledge of fire safety (means of escape, compartmentation, fire-rated materials, alarm systems) and accessibility (inclusive design, circulation, accessible WCs, step-free access).
• Other role-specific duties as they arise.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5+ years experience as an Interior-focused Technical Designer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Technical Interior Designer delivering real-world projects from concept through to completion, with a strong focus on technical execution.
• Strong interior design portfolio demonstrating technical detailing and buildable, production-ready work (critical requirement).
• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical drawings and documentation for construction.
• Strong background in workplace / commercial office design environments.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Experience working on UK-based projects and familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential), SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop).
• Ability to produce coordinated drawing sets, specifications, schedules, and technical outputs efficiently.

• Demonstrated high productivity and ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
• Confident client-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead meetings and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong project coordination, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Collaborative and team-oriented, while also capable of working autonomously.
