We are seeking a Technical Designer to join our team in Belgrade, Serbia, to design and implement gameplay systems and solutions for our AAA first-person action game using Unreal Engine 5. The successful candidate will be a key member of our technical team, working closely with engineering, game, and level design teams to drive game development.

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with engineering, game and level design teams help to design, prototype, and implement various gameplay systems and solutions for AAA first-person action game using Unreal Engine 5
• Work together with the technical team in organizing a proper data structure in the engine
• Be a data guru: take ownership and validate game/level design data integration, adjusting and polishing
• Be the point of contact for any design questions and issues related to the engine possibilities and limits
• Be number 1 person in striving the engine/ tech / design team for consistency and optimization in terms of debugging
• Based on design team needs create technical requirements and supervise the production of game design tools
• Take an active part in all planning session for the project, especially in those that assume any new feature or system to be inserted

Requirements:
• Deep Knowledge of Unreal Engine is a must have
• Experience with 3D level/game design tools and editors
• Solid experience in scripting and/or programming languages, Proficiency with UE Blueprints
• Experience in working with big chunks of data, knowing how to integrate and play around with it
• FPS/TPS project production experience and/or multiplayer experience are considered a plus
• Passionate gamer, with a strong passion for games in general
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in English (verbal, written and technical)
