WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Implementation Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class Pure Storage solutions to customers, ensuring successful deployments, upgrades, and long term customer success. You will combine deep technical expertise with a customer-first mindset, working closely with customers, partners, support and internal teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Implementation & Upgrades

• Perform on-site installation of Pure FlashArray //m and //x series systems at customer premises

• Execute HWNDUs:

• Current FlashArray //X and //XL series

• FlashBlade NDUs

• Install and configure expansion shelves, data packs, expansion cards and other hardware components

• Perform capacity consolidation and system expansion activities

• Install and configure Pure ActiveCluster and other Pure software features and functionality

• Support installation of additional Pure hardware and solutions offered now or in the future

Customer Engagement

• Lead assessment and planning calls with customers for upcoming installations and NDUs

• Provide basic to advanced knowledge transfer to customers, including:

• Hosts, host groups, volumes

• Replication sessions and core array functionality

• Ensure a seamless customer experience by working closely with Pure Support and cross-functional teams during deployments and upgrades

• Plan and manage travel to customer sites as required

• Security Clearance to SC Level Minimum

Solution Design & Innovation

• Define and develop customised storage solutions aligned with customer requirements, leveraging Pure best practices and latest technologies

• Design and implement Proof of Concept (PoC) environments to validate solutions and new approaches

• Bring forward creative, innovative ideas that enhance storage architectures, delivery processes, and customer outcomes

• Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement across systems, processes, and delivery methodologies

Enablement & Knowledge Sharing

• Train CDPs on all Pure Services

• Conduct training and handover sessions for delivery teams to ensure operational readiness

• Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including architectures, configurations, procedures and delivery guides

Support & Collaboration

• Act as a subject matter expert, providing advanced troubleshooting and support for complex customer issues

• Collaborate across sales, support, delivery, and engineering teams to achieve shared goals

• Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment that reflects Pure’s culture
