Overview of Role

We are looking for a Technical Delivery Manager who has evolved from a strong software engineering background into a delivery leadership role.This role requires someone who can balance technical depth with delivery excellence, working closely with engineering teams to drive execution, ensure quality, and deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of software engineering projects from planning to release

• Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure predictable delivery

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on system design, architecture, and technical decisions

• Drive execution across backend, frontend, and cloud-based systems

• Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, code quality, and scalable architecture

• Lead Agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

• Track and improve team velocity, delivery predictability, and quality metrics

• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers, ensuring timely resolution

• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear technical execution plans

• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes effectively to leadership and stakeholders

• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, Agile practices, and team performance

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of total experience in software engineering and delivery

• Strong foundation as a Software Developer / Engineer (must-have)

• Prior experience as a Tech Lead / Senior Engineer before moving into delivery roles

• 3+ years of experience in Delivery / Technical Project Management

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience in:

• Backend development (Python / Java / Node.js)

• Frontend frameworks (React or similar)

• Strong understanding of:

• System design & architecture

• Microservices and APIs

• Cloud platforms (GCP / AWS / Azure)

Tools & Methodologies

• Experience with Agile / Scrum frameworks

• Proficiency with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices

Preferred

• Scrum certifications (CSM / PSM)

• Exposure to data or AI/ML projects (good to have, not mandatory)
