Technical Delivery Lead

You’ll help drive execution excellence, improve release quality, and increase delivery predictability across engineering, product, and data teams. Your work will directly support our ability to scale efficiently, deliver better products, and serve our customers with speed and reliability.
This role reports to VP of Technology and partners across engineering, product, data, and business stakeholders.

Delivery Predictability – Improving planned vs. completed work across teams
Release Quality – Reducing defect leakage and post-release issues
Execution Efficiency – Improving cycle time, throughput, and workflow automation
Dependency Management – Ensuring cross-team alignment and on-time milestone delivery
How you’ll be measured:
Delivery Execution and Agile Leadership
Own delivery outcomes across multiple pods and workstreams with a strong bias toward completion
Drive clear execution through planning, backlog readiness, and structured delivery checkpoints
Coach teams to improve estimation, sprint discipline, and overall execution quality
Release Readiness and Delivery Quality
Ensure release readiness through dependency validation, risk management, and go/no-go coordination
Reduce defects and delivery friction through continuous improvement and post-release analysis
Strengthen release transparency and deployment confidence across teams

Improve visibility into delivery health through dashboards, reporting, and data-driven insights
Optimize workflows through automation and improved work management standards
Leverage AI tools to enhance planning, reporting, and operational efficiency
Cross-Functional Coordination and Product Context
Manage dependencies and alignment across engineering, product, data, and business teams
Communicate delivery status, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders
Develop strong understanding of product architecture and system dependencies to improve execution

Are comfortable working hands-on with delivery tools, data, and technical teams
What You’ve Done Before:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of experience in technical delivery, program delivery, agile delivery, release management, or software execution leadership
Experience supporting cross-functional software delivery across multiple teams and workstreams
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, SDLC, release processes, and dependency management in complex environments
Experience working directly with engineering, product, platform, and/or data teams
Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar for work management and reporting
Demonstrated ability to use delivery data to improve execution quality and predictability
Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand technical and product context to identify risks and sequencing issues
Tools and Expertise You’ll Bring:
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Power BI, SQL, Excel, and workflow automation tools such as Power Automate
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, agile delivery practices, and release management
Ability to analyze delivery metrics and translate insights into execution improvements
Experience with dependency management, backlog hygiene, and delivery reporting
Familiarity with AI tools applied to planning, reporting, and delivery optimization
