Technical Customer Interface Engineer (m/w/d)

• For our main customer, act as the primary technical contact for all services related topics (Maintenance, Overhaul, Repairs and Upgrade).
• Lead and coordinate technical support for customer issues, including safety cases and urgent problem resolution.
• Consolidate and prepare technical offers and tender documentation for Services , ensuring alignment with OE when necessary.
• Oversee execution of TSG projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
• Partner with our Centers of Competence (brakes, doors, HVAC, couplers, pantographs, PIS/CCTV, fire protection,...) in tender and projects to ensure technical alignment, timely support, and a unified/harmonized customer experience.
• Provide quick, accurate support to customer questions across those multiple product lines.
• Identify and develop opportunities by promoting integrated solutions at train level .
• Conduct feasibility studies, fleet assessments, and condition-based assessments to inform project decisions.
• Strengthen customer relationship through proactive engagement, technical credibility, and presentation of Wabtec innovation. 
• Document and track customer issues (related to Engineering), feedback, and resolutions, maintaining accurate records and reporting trends to management

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related technical field   (need graduate engineer or one with a degree)
• Solid rail engineering background (preferably train-level design or systems integration).
• Fluent German speaker; English proficiency required.
• Experience in maintenance workshops is a strong plus.
• Ability to navigate complex portfolios and communicate clearly with technical and commercial stakeholders.
