Technical Content Manager - Machine Software (m/f/d)

As a Technical Content Manager (m/f/d) for EGYM’S Machine Software, you will drive the creation and maintenance of our software product documentation, and create content to explain our products and features to a diverse audience of gym operators, trainers, and gym members. • Central content management: You are an integral part of EGYM’s central technical content management team, collaborating closely with the rest of the team and your stakeholders to ensure content priorities, structure, and updates remain consistent across EGYM’s machine software products
• Machine software docs: You independently create, maintain, and publish content for EGYM machine software – Smart Strength, Smart Cardio, Fitness Hub, and more
• Cross-functional collaboration: You partner with product managers, developers, support managers, and other stakeholders to gather information, build content roadmaps, validate content, and ensure documentation reflects current functionalities and user needs
• API & integration docs: You support partner integration documentation by working closely with teams focused on APIs and member management software
• Content guidelines & consistency: You apply and help refine content standards to ensure clarity, consistency, and localization-friendly documentation across all EGYM products

Your fitness level:
• Educational background: You have a degree in Instructional Design, Information Development, Technical Writing, or a related field
• Relevant experience: You have 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining product documentation for software
• Agile mindset: You have significant hands-on experience with agile software development (Jira, GitHub, collaboration with product managers, etc.)
• CCMS & structured authoring: You have hands-on experience working with structured authoring tools or Component Content Management System (CCMS) platforms
• Communication skills: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1+); German is a plus
• Stakeholder management & team player: You are an expert at building positive relationships with stakeholders and team members and are passionate about demonstrating the value of documentation, while contributing independently and remaining open to guidance, feedback, and shared ownership of the content strategy
• Content organization skills: You can present complex information clearly, logically, and with strong attention to user context

Your training goal for your first 6 months:
• Product knowledge: You have developed a deep understanding of EGYM’s full product ecosystem and documentation requirements
• Team integration: You are fully integrated in our agile, cross-functional team setup and have established strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (Technical Content Management, Product, Software Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Customer Support)
• Ownership of content: You are confidently and independently managing EGYM’s machine software documentation
