Technical Consultant - Interfaces

We are seeking a Mid-level / Senior Integration Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, build, and support integrations between Anaqua’s software platform and internal and external systems. This role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable integrations using, modern APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise integration patterns.

You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver end-to-end integration solutions from requirements and design through deployment and ongoing support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across APIs, databases, files, and data platforms, and takes ownership of integration outcomes.

Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather, analyze, and finalize integration requirements, providing structure and guidance throughout the discovery process.

Lead integration-related meetings and requirements workshops, including preparation, facilitation, and clear documentation of outcomes and next steps.

Translate business and operational requirements into clear technical integration designs and implementation plans.

Design, develop, and maintain system-to-system integrations using RESTful APIs and existing SOAP/WCF services.

Build and support scalable data integration and pipeline solutions across multiple file types, databases, APIs, and data platforms.

Implement data synchronization, transformation, and processing solutions (batch and near–real-time).

Assist with testing, deployment, monitoring, and post-deployment support.

Troubleshoot and resolve API, data flow, and integration issues.

Produce clear technical documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

Programming & Core Technologies

Strong proficiency in C#, with solid experience using .NET Framework and .NET Core, including Entity Framework, ASP.NET Core, and LINQ.

Solid understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

API & Integration

Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with microservices-based architectures is a plus.

Experience maintaining and integrating with SOAP/WCF services.

Understanding of API versioning, security, and performance best practices.

Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and stateless service design.

Hands-on experience with JSON and XML payloads and error handling.

Familiarity with API authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys).

Experience using Swagger / OpenAPI for API documentation and testing.

Data & SQL

Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.

Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

Hands-on experience with data transformation, mapping, and synchronization.

Solid understanding of ETL concepts, including batch and near–real-time integrations.

Nice to Have / Preferred Skills

Experience with ETL and orchestration tools (Azure Data Factory, Apache NiFi, Talend, or similar).

Familiarity with asynchronous and message-based integrations (e.g., Azure Service Bus).

Experience integrating with data lakes or NoSQL databases.

Exposure to cloud-based integration architectures (Azure preferred).

Experience integrating with Document Management Systems (DMS), particularly iManage and NetDocuments, is preferred; training will be provided.
